Podcasts
I am proud to be part of the award-winning founding City Cast podcast team, where we produce 15-minute episodes every weekday about all things Chicago.
I have pitched dozens of episodes on everything from an annual pilgrimage to Des Plaines to how to have fun in the city for under $50 a day. I have also pre-interviewed, booked, and prepped interviews on stories about a ride-share program for students and the Chicagoan who inspired the first Chinese American cookbook.
In terms of appearances, I have been a guest on the show several times now 👇
At Illinois Newsroom, I got a taste of producing for “The 21st,” Illinois’ statewide news talkshow, with a segment about dating during the early days of the pandemic.
Magazines
As former editor-in-chief of the Fashion Network, a fashion magazine at the University of Illinois, we created all of our own content in house, facilitating studio and location themed photo shoots with 50+ members. (See highlights from our fun — and occasionally chaotic — shoots.) I also managed and edited a team of writers and designers to create the semesterly publication.
